We're sorry to see you go. Here's how to delete your BorrowMe account.

Before you delete

Consider alternatives

  • You can pause your account instead
  • Hide your listings temporarily
  • Take a break without losing data
  • Complete pending items

  • Finish any active rentals
  • Resolve any open disputes
  • Withdraw available earnings
  • Download your data

  • Request a data export
  • Save your rental history
  • Keep important messages
  • What gets deleted

  • Your profile and photos
  • Listing information
  • Message history
  • Reviews you've written
  • What's retained

  • Transaction records (for legal/tax purposes)
  • Reviews others wrote about you (anonymized)
  • Aggregated usage data
  • How to delete

    Via the app

  • Go to Settings
  • Select Account
  • Tap Delete Account
  • Confirm your decision
  • Enter your password
  • Via the website

  • Go to Settings
  • Click Account Settings
  • Click Delete Account
  • Follow confirmation steps
  • After deletion

  • You'll receive a confirmation email
  • Data is removed within 30 days
  • Some data retained per legal requirements
  • You can create a new account anytime
  • Reactivation

  • Within 14 days, you can reactivate
  • Contact support with your email
  • Your data will be restored
  • After 14 days, deletion is permanent
